A great day

Today was a great day because it started with a phone call from our beautiful grandaughter, who turned 5 today. We spoke for many minutes but as it was on the mobile and we were on the road, it was a bit difficult to hear. Unfortunately we were unable to see her today, as Mummy was taking her out for a special "girls day". We will get to see her soon. We drove to Devonport as I was doing a card making class at wonderful "Bev Cross Crafts". When we arrived, I was the first person, so it was lovely to be early. The grass, on the drive down, was as white as white but the mountains were pink, with the rising sun. I felt so sorry for the animals in paddocks as we passed because it was so cold.

I loved the classes and ended up making 8 cards which were outside my field, a little, but good to learn new things. It was a lovely time and I was ever so glad that the class was not 2 days prior, as I was living from Panadiene Forte every 4 hours, Endone, every other 4 hours, with Diazepam in-between. Boy was it a bad day. So when I have good days, it is wonderful and I just live for the minute.

It was suggested I purchase a sheepskin and use that for a pillow. It can be folded, but my occupational therapist said that pillows were made for the pillow company and really, we don't need them. We were in Target, so I looked for a sheepskin and lucky, found the last one. I didn't find it difficult to sleep to sleep this way, but we are all made differently. I have a wardrobe full of good pillows :-( Today my beloved husband found another sheepskin at Target where they have 25% of nursery furniture, so we in fact purchased just on the right days, for once.
